I have been contemplating this for sometime- a blog on English Literature. My years of education in Delhi University, studying literature, groomed by some of the best teachers and again a large portion of my time teaching students literature in an institute wanted to be chronicled. Owing to my pursuit of MBA and the subsequent break in teaching (not studying, because that is something I do even today) I wanted students of literature everywhere in the world to share with me their own understandings and debate with mine as well. This blog will be my attempt to encompass the various books through the three years of graduation and the two years of masters. I know there will be aspects that might not be able to attend to but never-the-less the joy will be to remain glued to literature. At this moment I almost feel an extended parallel sentiment of a protagonist's relationship with a woman in Nadine Gordimer's "My Son's Story"and my relationship with the reader's of the blog- " ...Sermons in stone and good in everything" Ones who have read the text and understood the relationship will silently smile at this analogy because this is a code, my dears, I dare not breach!Keep visiting.
